Ibiza short breaks

Ibiza Spring

The natural attractions in ibiza are many and varied but in spring the island gives its best …. in my opinion if you want to make a cheap weekends break in spring, or a last minute holidays Ibiza is a perfect choice!

What‘s on in Ibiza in May

When people ask me at what time it is better to go to Ibiza I answer without delay …. in spring!   and… if you need a new cabin suitcase look at this in amazon i like so much because i’ts very organized and not only…

Ibiza is famous for the beautiful beaches, the clean sea, the clubs, the discos, the markets and the great youth that every summer frequents it … For me instead it is worth appreciating the wonderful nature that blossoms every spring, starting from March, April and then May the temperature becomes very pleasant and mild and the blue sky already puts you in a good mood.

Everything wakes up and the island is colored like an impressionist painting with strokes of different greens, bright reds and delicate shades of white and pink that give a romantic and relaxing look to a place known for exactly the opposite of sensations, a fascinating contrast that stimulates the mind.

May is however the month of seasonal transition that I recommend most to detach a few days from the stress of work with family and friends and why not also as a couple, in fact you can find satisfaction for all tastes.

Cultural Events in Ibiza

From 9 to 12 May 2019

If you are afraid of getting bored, no problem! In May the premises begin to open the doors and the various municipalities of the island organize various parties, activities and entertaining and interesting events both at a cultural and leisure level.

The main event that I love particularly and which I try not to miss every year is “Medieval Ibiza“. medieval parade
this is a high level event commemorates its World Heritage status, with aMedieval Fair & Festival within the walls of their fortified old town and declared a World Heritage Site, Dalt Vila. This annual recreational and cultural event is tribute to the multicultural legacy left on the island throughout the centuries by Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs and Christians.
For this occasion the town is set back to Middle Ages with colored decorations and everyone will dress up to celebrate their history in style.

I love traveling with my children on the narrow streets of the castle while we meet strange jesters, monsters and animals of various kinds … there are flight demonstrations with hawks, you can run into a group of ducks that squawk and walk all together between you and another tourist … or you can taste food of various kinds from the Arab to the typical ibicenco. if you are fond of souvenirs and shopping, be sure that you will return home with an extra bag!

The walls of Dalt Vila are the perfect scenery for the annual, 3-day Medieval Fair that attracts over 50.000 visitors each year.
It is considered a true highlight of the year and many residents contribute effortless to make sure all visitors enjoy an unforgettable experience in the unique surroundings of Dalt Vila.
